Codimar<\/a> has participated in the commercial mission to support the future “Logistics Base of the Spanish Army”<\/strong> .<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Defense has chosen the city of C\u00f3rdoba<\/strong> as the headquarters of the Technological Project of the Army Logistics Base. Its construction will be a great economic and social boost<\/strong> for the entire area, and will contribute to the creation of more than 1,600 jobs<\/strong> , most of them civilian personnel.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Logistics Base of the Spanish Army<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>

The Spanish Army, with the aim of unifying all logistics and maintenance activities in a single base<\/strong> , is going to close all existing ones and centralize everything in a future Cordovan base<\/strong> . This being a great business opportunity for the Cordoba industry<\/strong> and a very important job offer for the area.<\/p>\n

It will be a logistics center with the highest technological standards<\/strong> and which will group the maintenance activities of the Army’s material<\/strong> in a single installation, reducing service times, movement and infrastructures. In short, it will result in a comprehensive optimization of military logistics at the highest level that will be a technological engine, job creation and R & D & I for the region<\/p>\n

Another very important aspect of this project are the advantages related to energy efficiency, waste management and use, and the environmental policy<\/strong> that will allow the impact of this work in the area to be minimized.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Presentation of the logistics base at Feindef<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>

This new project has been presented at Feindef<\/strong> , the 2021 Defense and Security Industry Fair in Madrid on November 3, 4 and 5 with the support of the Ministry of Defense.<\/p>\n

The Feindef has celebrated its second edition after the great success that the first was in 2019. It is intended to consolidate itself as an event of global importance<\/strong> due to the strength and economic projection of the defense and security markets, which have a turnover of more than 5,900 million euros per year.<\/p>\n
